"Paise Kaun Dega": Akshay Kumar's Honest Take On Why Bollywood Can't Pull Off Tom Cruise-Like Stunts. Watch
Akshay Kumar gave his honest opinion on why Bollywood cannot pull off stunts like those performed by the likes of Tom Cruise in Hollywood.
Akshay Kumar made a name for herself in the 90s after he starred in 'Khiladi', and till date, he is viewed as one of the best action stars to come out of India. So, whenever Akshay Kumar talks about action movies or stunts, you tend to listen. In the latest entertainment news, Akshay Kumar gave his take on why Bollywood is not able to pull off stunts like Tom Cruise does in movies like 'Mission Impossible' series or 'Top Gun'.
In his answer, Akshay Kumar was brutally honest, and he said, that nobody is willing to give money to go all the way while performing a stunt. He said that Bollywood has not reached that level yet.
"When you watch his (Tom Cruise) stunts, log bolte hai aisa stunt kyu nahi karte? Bete, ye jo stunt tune dekha hai, iske paise kaun dega? Iske itne paise lagte hai, karne ke liye hum bhi kar sakte hain. Chhalang marna, kam se kam ek poora mahina bridge banana, bridge ke uppar then motorcycle pe, uski training poori," said Akshay Kumar, in an interview with news agency ANI.
"Jitna wo stunt karne me kharcha hua hai, usme humari 2-3 films ban jayegi. Sirf kharcha hua hai, wo bhi shoot ka nahi, sirf practice ka. Aisa nahi hai hum nahi kar sakte but we don't have that yet," he added.

Talking about Akshay Kumar, 2023 has turned out to be a mixed bag for him when it comes to box office. While 'OMG 2' emerged as a clear success, his other two movies 'Selfiee' and 'Mission Raniganj' have not been able to cause any waves at the box office.
However, things might not be so bleak for 'Mission Raniganj', as the new Hindi movie is running housefull in most parts of India on Friday (October 13).
For the unversed, October 13 is being celebrated as National Cinema Day in India. Tickets for all movies are available at just Rs 99 across the country. Apart from 'Mission Raniganj', 'Fukrey 3' and Shah Rukh Khan's 'Jawan' are also enjoying massive occupancy today in theatres.
Earlier, while talking about 'OMG 2', Akshay Kumar had said, "Aapko OMG 2 acchi lagi? Par hain kisi me majaal ki koi masturbation or sex education par film banaye? Mujhe aap bata dijiye kisi bhi actor ka naam, chahe yahan dekhlo ya Hollywood dekhlo. Main khud he produce karta hoon na, to main apne uppar paise kaise lelu? Jitni kamayi meri kamayi, nahi kamayi toh nahi kamayi."
