'OMG 2' starring Akshay Kumar has landed into trouble with the CBFC.

Remember director Om Raut's 'Adipurush' starring Prabhas, Saif Ali Khan and Kriti Sanon and how it was criticised severely for hurting sentiments of people for its objectionable portrayal of the epic 'Ramayana'? The Censor Board had also received flak for passing such a film, and now in the latest entertainment news, the board seems to be not taking any risks at this point, and it has sent Akshay Kumar's upcoming new Hindi movie 'OMG 2' back to the revision committee.

As per a report in India Today, the Censor Board has decided to take this action as they want to ensure that the dialogues and scenes in the movie do not create any issues.

India Today in its report also stated that moving ahead Censor Board will be sending any movie to the revision committee which is dealing with subjects like God or religion.

As of now, the makers of 'OMG 2' are yet to receive a show cause notice from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC)," stated a report by The Times of India.

For the unversed, Om Raut's 'Adipurush' faced severe criticism over the dialogues and poor VFX.

The makers had then released a new version of the film after changing some of the dialogues.

Dialogue-writer Manoj Muntashir Shukla also issued an apology last week for hurting the sentiments of some people with 'Adipurush'.

Talking about 'OMG 2', the movie stars Akshay Kumar, Pankaj Tripathi and Yami Gautam in lead roles. In the movie, Akshay Kumar is playing the role of Lord Shiva.

The teaser for 'OMG 2' was released on Tuesday (July 11) and fans went gaga over the look of Akshay Kumar.
