Akansha Ranjan Kapoor shared some stunning pictures from her trip to Maldives with Alia Bhatt.
Alia Bhatt and Akansha Ranjan Kapoor are serving major friendship goals yet again – this time from the scenic beaches of Maldives. The two best friends recently jetted off for a tropical escape, and what made the getaway even more heart-warming was the company of their mothers: Soni Razdan and Anu Ranjan. Fans were treated to glimpses of their sun-soaked vacation through Akansha’s Instagram update that screamed fun, food, and family feels.
On Monday, Akansha shared a carousel of pictures from their beachside vacation, cheekily captioning it, “Oops, we did it again.”

The post perfectly captured the essence of their trip – a mix of playful, scenic, and wholesome moments. One snapshot showed Akansha striking a pose against a picturesque beach view, another highlighted her enjoying mouth-watering meals, and a third showed her creatively interacting with her shadow in the sand. Several selfies with Alia added to the candid charm of the post.
The standout photo, however, was a cosy group selfie featuring Alia, Soni Razdan, Akansha, and her mom Anu Ranjan. All four appear relaxed and radiant, dressed in breezy vacation wear with minimal makeup. Alia beamed at the camera with her signature warmth, while Akansha added a playful touch holding a chic beach tote. Soni was nestled between the two daughters, completing the perfect frame of friendship and family.

Alia and Akansha’s bond goes way back to childhood. Over the years, they’ve consistently been each other’s biggest cheerleaders – be it vacations, lunch dates, or social media shoutouts. In a past interview with Hindustan Times, Alia described Akansha as “extremely loyal” and “super bossy,” even revealing that Akansha loves doing her makeup. “No one can say anything bad about me to her,” Alia added.
Akansha, too, had only praise for her BFF. “Ali has evolved emotionally since childhood... I never needed a therapist because I had her. She’s my go-to person,” she shared, lovingly calling Alia a ‘velli’ – someone always available no matter how busy she seems to others.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Alia Bhatt has two exciting projects lined up. She will next appear in ‘Alpha’, a spy thriller helmed by Shiv Rawail, releasing on December 25 as part of YRF’s spy universe.
She’s also part of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Love and War’, where she stars alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal.
