However, amid her gorgeous look at the fashion event, Alia Bhatt finds herself at the centre of a deep fake controversy yet again. In the latest Bollywood celebrity news, a video is going viral on social media which depicts Alia Bhatt's face superimposed onto actress Wamiqa Gabbi's face. The viral clip is now causing widespread outrage and concerns are once again in the limelight, regarding the misuse of digital technology.

For the unversed, the original video was shared by 'Jubilee' actress Wamiqa Gabbi on her Instagram a few days ago.
In the reel shared by Wamiqa Gabbi, the actress was seen flaunting a red saree, which she wore for the screening of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Hindi web series 'Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar'.
Interestingly, the event was also attended by Alia Bhatt.
This is not the first time that Alia Bhatt has been subjected to a deepfake. Earlier, a video went viral in which her voice and gestures were also copied.
Earlier, actresses like Rashmika Mandanna, Katrina Kaif and Kajol had also fallen prey to deepfake videos.
Speaking of Alia Bhatt at Met Gala 2024, the actress was dressed in a gorgeous mint green-coloured Sabyasachi floral saree adorned with delicate embroidery and precious gemstones.
Meanwhile, on the film front, Alia Bhatt was last seen in Karan Johar’s ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’ apart from her Hollywood debut 'Heart of Stone'.
She will next be seen in Vasan Bala’s ‘Jigra’, co-starring Vedang Raina.
Alia Bhatt will also feature in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Love and War’. The film will also star Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal.
