Watch: Alia Bhatt Burns Her Hand, Mother Soni Razdan Rushes To Pour Cold Water On Injury
Alia Bhatt just couldn’t resist her mother Soni Razdan’s delicious apple crumble in the latest episode of ‘In My Mama’s Kitchen’. But her sweet indulgence came at a price when she accidentally burnt her hand.
Alia Bhatt is a multi-talented personality – an accomplished actress, a producer, and an entrepreneur. However, she has candidly admitted that cooking isn’t her strong suit. This realization led her to create a unique YouTube series titled ‘In My Mama’s Kitchen’ on her channel. The concept? Alia learns to cook from none other than her mother and veteran actress Soni Razdan. While the debut episode focused on making Mac and Cheese, the latest episode, which dropped on Monday, featured Soni Razdan’s special apple crumble recipe.
Alia shared the entire experience on her YouTube channel with a video titled ‘Burnt My Hand For This One’.

The video kicked off with Soni Razdan assembling ingredients for the apple crumble and starting the preparation. However, Alia, eager to take the reins, quickly intervened, expressing her desire to handle the cooking herself.
She confidently said, “Let me do it. This is about me learning how to cook.” Following which, Soni joked, “I thought this was about me cooking and you looking.”
Soni Razdan then guided Alia through the process of blending flour, brown sugar, and butter, demonstrating the right way to mix them using her fingers until the mixture resembled a crumbly texture.
As they continued to bake the apple crumble, Alia asked, “I think it looks good! Who’s going to eat it? That’s the question.” To which Soni shared, “I think we will send some to Shaheen. We’ll send some for Raha. And then you better get it out of my house because I don’t need to eat any more sweet stuff for this month. I think I am done with my quota.”
After taking the apple crumble out of the oven, Alia took a bite and called it delicious. However, in a moment of distraction, she accidentally touched the hot tray, burning her hand. “Mumma,” Alia called her mother. Soni was then seen asking Alia to put her hand under the water.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Alia Bhatt was last seen in ‘Jigra’. The movie, despite positive reviews for her performance, did not fare well at the box office.
Up next, she is set to star in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Love and War’, alongside her husband Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal. This marks her second collaboration with Sanjay Leela Bhansali after the hit 2022 film ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’.
Additionally, Alia Bhatt is gearing up for ‘Alpha’, directed by Shiv Rawail and co-starring Sharvari Wagh. Set to expand Yash Raj Films’ spy universe, the film is scheduled for a Christmas release.
