Alia Bhatt Named First Indian Global Brand Ambassador Of Renowned Fashion House Gucci
Alia Bhatt has now become the first Indian global ambassador for the Italian luxury fashion house Gucci, following her Met Gala debut.
After a successful Met Gala debut earlier this month, Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt is adding another feather to her cap. This time, Alia Bhatt has secured a pretty swanky brand deal. In a first for any artist ever in India, Alia Bhatt has been roped in as the first Indian to become the Global Ambassador for the luxury Italian fashion house Gucci. Reportedly, she will also make her first appearance as the brand's latest global ambassador at the Gucci Cruise 2024 show.
Alia Bhatt took to Instagram to share the big news with her fans and followers. She wrote in the caption, “I’m honored to represent the house of Gucci not only in India but at a global stage. Gucci’s legacy has always inspired and intrigued me and I’m looking forward to the many sartorial milestones we create together.”

On Thursday, Gucci also announced Alia Bhatt as their Global Ambassador. “Alia Bhatt is the House’s newest Global Brand Ambassador. To mark the occasion, the actress, producer, and entrepreneur was captured with the Gucci Bamboo 1947 bag,” the caption of Gucci’s post read.
Alia Bhatt will make her first public appearance as the luxury fashion house's face at the upcoming Gucci Cruise 2024 runway show in Seoul, South Korea. It will take place at the city's Gyeongbokgung Palace. The show will mark the luxury fashion house's 25 years in the country.
Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt recently turned heads with her debut at this year's Met Gala. The Bollywood actress turned muse for designer Prabal Gurung, who dressed her according to the theme 'In Honour of Karl'.
For her Met Gala debut, she rocked a dreamy pearl-embellished gown designed. Her outfit was inspired by supermodel Claudia Schiffer's 1992 Chanel bridal look.
On the film front, Alia Bhatt will soon make her debut in Hollywood alongside Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan in Netflix's spy thriller ‘Heart of Stone’. The movie is slated to premiere on the streaming platform on August 11.
Alia Bhatt also has Karan Johar's ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ with Ranveer Singh in the pipeline and is yet to start shooting for Farhan Akhtar's ‘Jee Le Zaraa’ with Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra.
