Recently, the paps teased Tamannaah Bhatia after she seemingly confirmed her dating rumours with Vijay Varma. And now, the paparazzi left Alia Bhatt surprised when they addressed her as “Sita ma’am” and “Sita ji” as they captured her at the Mumbai airport.
Alia Bhatt recently jetted off to Sao Paulo to attend the Netflix Tudum 2023 event. The Bollywood actress was spotted at the Mumbai airport. When the paparazzi called her “Sita ma’am” she was momentarily taken aback before smiling and hiding her face. Instant Bollywood shared the video on Instagram.

According to recent reports, filmmaker Nitesh Tiwari’s upcoming film ‘Ramayana’ is said to star Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram and Alia as Sita.
In the viral video, Alia Bhatt was seen getting down from her car and the photographers started calling her “Sita ji” and “Sita ma’am”. Alia Bhatt, who was confused for a few seconds, realized what they are referring to and hid her face.
As soon as the video was shared on Instagram, fans flooded the comment section of the post and reacted to it.
One fan said, “She also deserves the role of sita.”
Another one added, “My all time favourite, Alia Bhatt.”
A third user commented, “Ye madam sita banney chali Kya zamana aagaya.”
“Alia is not suitable for the role of Sita because she doesn't look like a real Indian girl, she is a mix of British and Indian,” another comment on the post read.
For her airport look, Alia Bhatt picked a cute crochet top and a pair of baggy jeans. The actress looked every bit gorgeous in a multi-coloured top featuring heart shapes in various shades of colours.
The top came with button detailing lining the torso and full sleeves. In blue baggy denims, Alia perfectly completed her look.
Alia Bhatt left her tresses open in wavy curls with a side part as she smiled and posed for the cameras. In mascara-laden eyelashes, contoured cheeks and a shade of nude lipstick, Alia looked stunning as ever.
Coming back to Nitesh Tiwari’s ‘Ramayana’, a Pinkvilla report claimed that the film will go on floors in December this year. There were also reports stating that South star Yash would portray the role of Raavana in the film. An official announcement for the movie is yet to be made.
Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt will soon be making her Hollywood debut with ‘Heart of Stone’, which also stars Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan.
She will also be seen in Karan Johar’s ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ alongside Ranveer Singh. She also has ‘Jee Lee Zara’ with Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra in the pipeline.
