Shah Rukh Khan's latest release 'Dunki', directed by Rajkumar Hirani, which also stars Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal and Boman Irani, has been collecting money at the box office at a steady pace, and so far, the new Hindi film has minted Rs 256 crore worldwide. The movie will not be able to do the same amount of business as SRK's previous two releases 'Pathaan', and 'Jawan', however, the superstar is poised to walk away with three successful films in 2023.

The songs of 'Dunki' have also received appreciation and Sonu Nigam's track titled 'Nikle The Kabhi Hum Ghar Se' has been getting immense love and appreciation.

In the latest entertainment news, Sonu Nigam on Tuesday posted a video, in which SRK can be seen thanking him for singing such a lovely track in his film 'Dunki'.

"First of all, a big thank you, personally and professionally to Sonu bhai for doing this lovely song in my film 'Dunki'. Mera aur Sonu ka bachpan ka pyaar hai, hum ek dusre ko bahut saalon se jante hai," said Shah Rukh Khan.

Talking about ‘Dunki’, the new Hindi film minted Rs 24.32 crore on Monday, which was the fifth day of its release.

The five-day domestic nett total of ‘Dunki’ now stands at Rs 129.95 crore. For the unversed, 'Dunki' released in theatres a day before Prabhas' 'Salaar: Part One - Ceasefire'.

Earlier, ‘Salaar’ had recorded the biggest opening for an Indian film this year as it made Rs 179 crore on Day 1 of its release globally, as per the producers of the movie.

Prabhas is in desperate need of a hit as his last three releases – ‘Saaho’, ‘Radhe Shyam’ and ‘Adipurush’, tanked at the box office, despite getting a marvellous opening weekend collection.
