Amitabh Bachchan Shares Pics As Fan Gets His Face Tattooed On Arm, Pens Emotional Note
Amitabh Bachchan continued his iconic Sunday Darshan tradition, warmly greeting fans outside Jalsa and sharing heartfelt moments from the meet.
For decades, Sundays in Juhu have meant just one thing for fans of Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan – a chance to see the superstar himself. Living up to this long-standing tradition, Big B stepped outside his residence, Jalsa, this past Sunday to greet fans who had waited patiently to catch a glimpse of him. Later, he took to his blog to share heartfelt moments from the meet, offering a series of photos and a short note filled with affection, nostalgia, and a subtle reflection on the passage of time.
Check out some of the pictures from his blog post here:

In the pictures, Amitabh Bachchan can be seen greeting the crowd with folded hands and a warm smile, standing outside Jalsa.
One image even offered a rare peek into the temple within his home, while another showed the iconic Jalsa nameplate. A few frames also captured the sea of fans gathered outside – one man held a red shawl above his head as a gesture of reverence, while another revealed a tattoo of Amitabh’s face inked on his hand.
Sharing these glimpses, the actor simply wrote, “Ever in gratitude and affectionate love. Life endears and moves on .. To the next life?”
The Sunday Darshan ritual has been an integral part of Amitabh Bachchan’s life for over 40 years. Hundreds flock to his Juhu residence every weekend, and the Bollywood superstar has rarely missed stepping out to acknowledge their love.
In a past blog post, he revealed that he always removes his shoes before meeting them – calling the gesture an act of devotion.
Reflecting on changing times, he had once written, “I do observe though that the numbers are in lesser magnitude and the enthusiasm has lessened and the screams of joy now transferred to the mobile camera .. and that is more evident now an indication that time has moved on and nothing lasts forever.”
Meanwhile, on the work front, Amitabh Bachchan was last seen in ‘Vettaiyan’, a 2024 Tamil-language action drama directed by T J Gnanavel.
The film, which also stars Rajinikanth, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, and Manju Warrier, marked Amitabh’s debut in Tamil cinema.
