"Just Trying To...": Shah Rukh Khan Replies After Anand Mahindra’s Praise For 'Jawan' Song 'Zinda Banda'
Shah Rukh Khan replied to Mahindra Group chairman Anand Mahindra after the latter praised his energy in 'Jawan' song 'Zinda Banda'.
Fans are eagerly waiting for Shah Rukh Khan's next release 'Jawan'. Earlier this week, the makers dropped the first song from the movie titled 'Zinda Banda'. The song is a peppy track and SRK can be seen dancing his heart out. 'Zinda Banda' is smashing records left, right and centre and it has become the most-viewed Bollywood track in 24 hours after it clocked 35 million views, and it beat the record of Kartik Aaryan's 'Gujju Pataka' from 'SatyaPrem Ki Katha' and 'Jai Shri Ram' from Prabhas-starrer 'Adipurush'.
Recently, Mahindra Group Chairman Anand Mahindra had taken to Twitter to praise Shah Rukh Khan's dance moves in 'Zinda Banda'.
"This hero is 57 years old?? Clearly his ageing process defies gravitational forces! He’s 10X as alive as most people. #ZindaBanda ho to aisa," Anand Mahindra tweeted.
Now, SRK has replied to Anand Mahindra, and on Wednesday, he said: "@anandmahindra Life is so short and fast sir, just trying to keep up with it. Try and entertain as many whatever it takes….laugh..cry…shake…or fly…hopefully make some to swim with the stars….dream for a few moments of joy."

'Zinda Banda' has also been released in Tamil and Telugu versions, titled 'Vandha Edam' and 'Dhumme Dhulipelaa', respectively.
As the song was unveiled, SRK also shared a note on Twitter, saying: "Usoolon par jahan aanch aaye, takrana zaroori hai Jo zinda ho toh phir zinda nazar aana zaroori hai! When principles are at stake, one must fight, This battle is what makes you alive!
“I thank Wasim Barelvi sahab with all my heart for letting us use this beautiful couplet with a minor change."
"The song is written by Irshad Kamil Sir, and the music is by my dear friend Anirudh. Presenting Zinda Banda," he added.
Apart from SRK, Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, the new Hindi movie also stars Sanya Malhotra, Sunil Grover, Ridhi Dogra and Priyamani.
Deepika Padukone will also be seen in a special appearance. The movie marks the Hindi debut for actress Nayanthara and director Atlee.
'Jawan' will be releasing in the theatres on September 7, 2023.
