Aneet Padda treated her fans to a soulful rendition of 'Saiyaara' title track.

Bollywood actress Aneet Padda’s musical side has taken the ‘Saiyaara’ wave a notch higher. When a film truly connects, the ecosystem around it – behind-the-scenes snippets, candid dumps, off-screen chemistry – also becomes part of the story. That’s exactly what happened with ‘Saiyaara’, the romantic drama that ruled both the box office and social media. As praise for the film keeps pouring in, its leading lady has become an even bigger fan favourite after a fresh clip of her crooning the title track went viral, reinforcing that the magic of ‘Saiyaara’ now lives beyond the screen.

Aneet Padda captioned the post, “The singing may be rusty but the love isn’t.”

In the video, Aneet Padda let her guard down and let the music lead. Sitting cross-legged on the floor with a guitar in hand, she sang the title track in a soft, melodious register that immediately caught the ear. A few beats later, her father, seated comfortably on a sofa behind her, chimed in – turning the home jam into an intimate father-daughter duet.

The moment was sweet, unforced, and delightfully real. Fans flooded the comments section with adoration.

One user wrote, “Babe, you’ve got the looks, an angelic voice and insane acting skills. WOW.”

Another admirer wrote, “Aneet’s voice when she was humming. Bhai sahab, she is multi-talented.”

A third said, “Even her voice is good. Loved this.”

Someone else declared it the “Cutest thing I’ve seen today,” while another gushed, “You’ve got the looks, the acting and now even the voice. Powerhouse of talent.”

One particularly bold fan verdict read, “Better than the original.”

The ‘Saiyaara’ title song featured lyrics by Irshad Kamil and music by Tanishk Bagchi, Faheem Abdullah and Arslan Nizami. The original version was sung by Faheem Abdullah, while the female version was rendered by Shreya Ghoshal.

Aneet Padda’s performance in ‘Saiyaara’ had already earned widespread praise, with her on-screen chemistry opposite Ahaan Panday turning both actors into overnight sensations. The film, directed by Mohit Suri, also featured Alam Khan, Varun Badola, Rajesh Kumar, Geeta Aggarwal Sharma and others in pivotal roles.

For Aneet, who earlier appeared in Kajol’s ‘Salaam Venky’ and shows like ‘Big Girls Don’t Cry’, ‘Saiyaara’ came as a breakout project that pushed her firmly into the national conversation.

Made on a Rs 50 crore budget, ‘Saiyaara’ has earned Rs 553 crore worldwide, cementing its place as the biggest romantic film in Indian cinema.
