Recently, Anil Kapoor took to Instagram to reveal his incredible transformation for his upcoming movies ‘Animal’ and ‘Fighter’.
In his caption, Anil Kapoor wrote, “Switching between two completely opposite roles this last year has been both challenging and gratifying…Going from the 65-year-old Balbir in Animal to the 45-year-old Air Force officer Rocky in Fighter, I had to undergo a serious physical transformation to do justice to the prestigious uniform I was wearing. Now that both the films have wrapped up, I can’t wait for the audiences to watch them.”

Anil Kapoor will be playing Ranbir Kapoor’s father Balbir Singh, a 65-year-old man in ‘Animal’, and a 45-year-old Indian Air Force officer named Rocky in ‘Fighter’, which will also star Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone.
The two roles demanded different looks, which led to the 66-year-old actor undergoing a serious physical transformation. While Anil Kapoor’s transformation is definitely impressive and applaud-worthy, Varun Dhawan’s hilarious reply to the veteran star’s transformation stole the limelight.
Varun Dhawan commented, “It’s easy to do all this when ur just 18 years old Anil when u reach ur 30,s it gets tougher lol. ”
Anil Kapoor’s daughter Sonam Kapoor Ahuja also commented on the post. She wrote, “Dad,” along with a laughing emoji.

Meanwhile, Anil Kapoor recently returned as Mr India for a smartphone commercial, and it left his fans nostalgic. Amid the demand for the film’s sequel, producer Boney Kapoor added fuel to the fire as he wrote, “Work in progress for a big screen appearance.”
Coming back to ‘Animal’, the teaser of the Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial came out a few weeks ago and heightened fans' anticipation for the film. Apart from Ranbir Kapoor and Anil Kapoor, the upcoming movie also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Bobby Deol. It is set to release on December 1, and will be going up against Vicky Kaushal’s ‘Sam Bahadur’.
Meanwhile, ‘Fighter’ is being directed by Siddharth Anand of ‘Pathaan’ and ‘War’ fame. Fighter is slated to release in theatres on January 25, 2024. Apart from Anil Kapoor, the film also features Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone.
