“Best Actor In…”: Mahesh Babu’s Ultimate Praise Leaves Ranbir Kapoor Blushing. Watch Video
At the ‘Animal’ pre-release event, Mahesh Babu had the ultimate praise in store for Ranbir Kapoor.
The makers of 'Animal’ held a grand pre-release event in Hyderabad on Monday, and it was attended by the likes of Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Ranbir Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna, among others. South superstar Mahesh Babu and 'Baahubali' director SS Rajamouli also attended the event, and the duo had nothing but high praise for 'Animal' lead actor Ranbir Kapoor. At the event, Mahesh Babu also called Ranbir Kapoor "best actor in India."
“I have told him before when I met him but I don't think he took that seriously. I am a huge Ranbir Kapoor fan and in my opinion he is the best actor in India,” he said.
As Mahesh Babu said these words, Ranbir Kapoor was seen blushing, and he also got a little emotional.

When it was Ranbir Kapoor's turn to speak, he said, "You were the first superstar Mahesh Babu I ever met. I remember messaging him after watching Okkadu and he replied, and I can’t thank you enough for supporting, sir."
Ranbir Kapoor also chanted, "Jai Babu, Jai Babu."
At the event, Ranbir Kapoor also touched the feet of filmmaker SS Rajamouli as he met him.
Talking about Ranbir Kapoor, SS Rajamouli said, "Without hesitation, I'll tell you, my favorite actor is Ranbir Kapoor."
Recently, Ranbir Kapoor had opened up on why Sandeep Reddy Vanga's movie is titled 'Animal'.
Speaking at an event in Chennai, Ranbir Kapoor said, "Once you see the film, you will understand. I think the reason why Sandeep Reddy Vanga called this film ‘Animal’ is because animal behaves out of instinct. They don't behave out of thought."
"So, this character that I'm playing, he behaves out of instinct to protect his family. He is not thinking he is behaving out of instinct, he is impulsive, and I think that's where the title Animal came and once you see the film you'll realize that this film suits this title," he added.
'Animal' will be releasing in theatres on December 1, and it will be clashing against Vicky Kaushal's 'Sam Bahadur', directed by Meghna Gulzar.
