Arjun Kapoor Addresses False Rumours About Malaika Arora’s Pregnancy, Urges Media To Reach Out Before Reporting “Important” Updates
Arjun Kapoor urged the media to reach out to him and Malaika Arora before reporting “very important” updates about their lives.
Bollywood stars Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora, who have been dating for several years, are often trolled for the age gap between them. Despite being criticised for their life choices, Malaika Arora and Arjun Kapoor have remained vocal about their love for each other. From making public appearances together to uploading social media posts, they have never shied away from expressing their love. In November last year, rumours about Malaika Arora being pregnant began circulating.
Arjun Kapoor had taken to Instagram to slam the rumours. He said that for far too long, the media has gotten away with reporting false rumours without any consequences. In a new interview with Bollywood Bubble, Arjun Kapoor again addressed how false rumours affect him.
Talking to Bollywood Bubble, Arjun Kapoor said, “Negativity is easier to do.”
Arjun also said that he has never hidden anything about his personal or professional life, and added, “I think it gets people to pay attention, because that’s been building for a while. Listen, we are actors, our personal life is not always very private. There is a certain amount that exists and you have to be okay with it already joining the profession.”
“There might be that element that remains, but I think we rely on you all to reach the audience. We need you all to be at least cognizant of the fact that we are human beings. So, check with us once in a while if you’re going to write something that is very, very important. At least do that much, and I think that was all that I did. It was more about that it should be checked; it should not be assumed. You should not put something that can be life-altering out there,” he added.
Malaika Arora and Arjun Kapoor made their relationship Instagram official in 2019. Previously, Malaika was married to Arbaaz Khan. They parted ways in 2017 and are co-parenting their son Arhaan Khan.
Meanwhile on the work front, last year, Malaika made her OTT debut with her own reality series, ‘Moving in With Malaika’, which showed her talking about various aspects of her life. She was last seen in Guru Randhawa’s new song ‘Tera Ki Khayal’.
Arjun Kapoor was last seen in ‘Kuttey’. Next, he will be seen in ‘The Lady Killer’ with Bhumi Pednekar.
