Shahid Kapoor's much-anticipated 'Bloody Daddy' released on JioCinema on Friday at 12 AM and it looks like many fans have already watched the Ali Abbas Zafar-directorial. For the unversed, 'Bloody Daddy' can be watched for free on JioCinema. The movie which also stars Sanjay Kapoor, Ronit Roy, Diana Penty and Rajeev Khandelwal has impressed the netizens and fans are labelling Shahid Kapoor as the "Indian John Wick."

In 'Bloody Daddy', Shahid Kapoor is playing the role of an NCB officer who manages to crackdown a drug deal with his team in Gurugram. However, this results in drug lord Sikandar, played by Ronit Roy, kidnapping Shahid Kapoor's son. How the plot unfolds from there, for that, you will need to see the new Hindi movie.

The new Hindi movie is being praised for its slick action scenes and the acting performance of Shahid Kapoor.

Here are some of the reactions:

'Bloody Daddy' has been majorly shot in Delhi and Gurugram. The new Hindi movie was filmed in 36 days amid the Covid-19 pandemic.

Earlier, Shahid Kapoor, who had made his Bollywood debut with the 2003 film ‘Ishq Vishk’, spoke about venturing into Hollywood while promoting his upcoming movie ‘Bloody Daddy’.

In a new interview with News18 Showsha, Shahid Kapoor said that if he is offered a Tamil, Telugu or Malayalam movie he will do it if it satisfies him as an actor.

Shahid Kapoor said, “I have worked here for 20 years so I love my fraternity and I love our films. I feel very comfortable here. Having said that, I’m here to do good work. So on one hand you’re saying Hollywood, I’ll say the reverse thing… If somebody offers me a Tamil, Telugu or Malayalam movie and if I feel there’s a great role to do and it will satisfy me as an actor, I’ll go do that... If you are chasing performance and calibre, I wouldn’t want to go to Hollywood and do some trash. That’s not what I would want to do."

The Bollywood actor added, “Abhi mere ko Hollywood mein break mil gaya hai… kuch bhi kar lo… Nahi. There has to be a certain feeling from inside. You should feel inspired, excited and challenged to do something then language should not be a barrier. But language is a genuine thing. Some people are good at making a transition but some people are not. It’s not easy to do that…If I get an opportunity, I’d go anywhere. Just give me something exciting. I just did OTT. I don’t care."
