Bobby Deol has spoken about his entry scene in 'Animal', which has gone insanely viral and become a huge talking point.

Sandeep Reddy Vanga's 'Animal' is being severely debated on social media. While some are loving the film, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Rashmika Mandanna and Triptii Dimri, others are calling it out for glorifying toxic masculinity. One scene getting a lot of attention on social media is Bobby Deol's entry in the film, where he can be seen dancing to the song 'Jamal Kudu'. In 'Animal, Bobby Deol plays the character of Abrar Haque. In the latest entertainment news, Bobby Deol has opened up about his entry scene and revealed how he got the idea of keeping a glass on his head in the song.

“It is crazy, people are keeping a glass on their dog’s head and dancing. Somebody had worn an exact same suit like mine. It’s just overwhelming to see all of that," Bobby Deol told Bollywood Spy.

“He (Sandeep Reddy Vanga) had made me listen to the music beforehand. He has got a great sense of music. He has got a great sense of everything about filmmaking. He found the song from somewhere and told me ‘I will play this in your introduction.’ When we started shooting, the choreographer said, ‘You do it.’ I was like, ‘what will I do?’ I started dancing and he told me, “No, No. Don’t do it like Bobby Deol.’ Then Saurabh, who plays my brother, I told him, ‘Can you do and show? How would you do it?’," he added.

Further speaking about it, Bobby Deol said, "Then I suddenly remembered the time when I was small and we used to go to Punjab. I remembered how we used to get drunk and keep glasses on our head. I never understood why we did it. It suddenly came in my mind and I did that. Sandeep liked it.”

For the unversed, 'Jamal Kudu' is a reworked version of an ranian song called Jamaal Jamaaloo by Iran’s Khatareh Group, which is around 10 years old.

The new version of the song has been done by Harshvardhan Rameshwar.

Despite facing criticism for glorifying toxic masculinity in certain disturbing scenes, ‘Animal’ continues to perform extraordinarily well at the box office.

'Animal' will look to enter the Rs 500 crore club, but it all depends on how the movie performs in its third weekend.

'Animal' has become the fifth-highest-grossing Hindi film of all time, only behind 'Jawan', 'Gadar 2', 'Pathaan', and 'Baahubali 2: The Conclusion'.
