Shahid Kapoor is currently gearing up for the release of his latest film titled 'Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya'. In the new Hindi movie, Shahid Kapoor will be sharing the screen alongside Kriti Sanon. Ahead of the film's release on February 9, Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon are trying their best to promote the project. In the latest Bollywood movie news, Shahid Kapoor was recently asked if there is a possibility of a Sandeep Reddy Vanga universe where lead characters from Kabir Singh and 'Animal' meet in 'Animal Park'. For the unversed, 'Animal Park' has been announced as the sequel to Ranbir Kapoor's 2023 smash-hit 'Animal'.
Shahid Kapoor had played the lead role in Kabir Singh. Both the Vanga films were widely criticised for being misogynistic and violent.
Talking to Bollywood Bubble, Shahid Kapoor said, "Certain things are very exciting for the audience. Really… the ball is not in my court and it’s not so easy because I think the universes are quite different.”
“If something like that happens, it would be great but is it practically possible? Is it doable? Who will write it? When will it happen? There are so many practical things that happen,” he added.

Shahid Kapoor also spoke about the much-awaited second season of 'Farzi', and said that the audience does not realise that the makers (Raj & DK) have other things on their plate, and hence things are getting delayed.
“Everyone’s asking me when is the next season of Farzi coming out and it is very difficult to explain it to them that the directors (Raj & DK) have two shows that they have written and they have to finish them and then they have to come back to write this," he said.
"(The audience says) ‘They have not even started writing it? What’s wrong with them? They are so stupid. They should immediately make it. This is what people want to watch’. And I’m like… I wish it was that simple, but it’s not. But it’s a great thought. If the audience gets excited by that, I am happy," he added.
For the unversed, 'Farzi' which was Shahid Kapoor's OTT debut, ended up becoming the most watched Hindi OTT series of all time in India on an SVOD (subscription video on demand) platform.
Talking about 'Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya', the trailer was unveiled last month.
Earlier, Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon's film was supposed to be released on December 7, 2023. However, it was then postponed to February 2024. This decision might have been taken in light of the packed December 2023 release schedule.
The new Hindi movie is being produced by Dinesh Vijan, Jyoti Deshpande, and Laxman Utekar. The romantic film is written and directed by Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah.
