Aishwarya Rai Bachchan walked the red carpet wearing a sparkling silver gown from the Sophie Couture label.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan made heads turn at the ongoing Cannes Film Festival 2023 as she walked the red carpet on Thursday (May 18). The actress, who is riding high on the success of her latest Tamil film 'Ponniyin Selvan 2', walked the red carpet wearing a sparkling silver gown from the Sophie Couture label. The dress was also paired with a structured giant hood and it covered the actress' head.
An oversized black bow rounded up the look. However, this look of Aishwarya wasn't to the taste of many fans, and several users mocked the actress for her latest look at the Cannes Film Festival.
The look of Aishwarya was shared by the official Instagram page of Brut India and fans continue to give their take on her latest look.

Before wearing this sparkling silver gown dress, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan sported another outfit and it was an exquisite cape dress by Valentino. To compliment her dress, she opted to wear high heels as well.

Talking about the Indian flavour at Cannes Film Festival, Anushka Sharma is one of the major personalities from Indian cinema who will be attending the event this year. She will be honouring women in cinema along with Hollywood star Kate Winslet at the Palais des Festivals et des Congres in Cannes, France.
Aditi Rao Hydari, Vignesh Shivan, Niharika NM, Ruhee Dosani, Ranveer Allahbadia and Dolly Singh are attending the event as well.
Talking about the films, Anurag Kashyap’s ‘Kennedy’, Kanu Behl’s ‘Agra’, Yudhajit Basu’s ‘Nehemich’ and Aribam Syam Sharma’s ‘Ishanou’ are part of the Indian showcase at Cannes.
While ‘Agra’ will have its world premiere in the Directors’ Fortnight section, ‘Kennedy’, ‘Nehemich’ and ‘Ishanou’ will be showcased in the Midnight Screenings, La Cinef and Cannes Classics section, respectively.
