Cannes 2023: Mrunal Thakur Makes Stellar Debut In Cut-Out Gown, Vijay Varma Looks Dapper In All-Black Suit
Cannes 2023: Mrunal Thakur finally made her red carpet debut in a white cut-out gown. Vijay Varma rocked an all-black suit and Urvashi Rautela turned heads sporting a bold blue lip.
Cannes International Film Festival 2023 is the talk of the town ever since it commenced on May 16. The prestigious film festival, which will conclude on May 27, is being attended by some of the biggest stars from the entertainment industry. Several Indian celebrities including Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Mrunal Thakur, Sara Ali Khan, Esha Gupta, Manushi Chhillar, and Urvashi Rautela have already marked their presence at the event. Adding to the growing list of celebrities at the star-studded affair is Vijay Varma.
The Bollywood actor, who has received immense praise for his role in the recently released Amazon Prime Video series ‘Dahaad’, walked the red carpet on the third day of the Cannes film festival. He also shared a bunch of photos on his Instagram account, saying that it’s “good to be back here.”

Vijay Varma, who looked dapper in an all-black suit, is part of the Indian delegation present at the 76th edition of the film festival.
This marks his second time at Cannes International Film Festival. The ‘Darlings’ actor last attended the Cannes International Film Festival in 2013, when his film ‘Monsoon Shootout’ premiered at the prestigious film festival.
Apart from Vijay Varma, Mrunal Thakur also made her much-awaited Cannes red carpet debut. Mrunal Thakur, who served some absolutely stunning looks after arriving at Cannes 2023, picked a Falguni Shane Peacock structured white cut-out gown with a long train for her debut.
Mrunal Thakur’s gown came with a one-shoulder decolletage-exposing neckline, cut-outs on the torso and waist, an embellished brooch on the shoulder, shimmering sequins and bead embellishments, ruffled design on the front, and a sheer feather-adorned train attached on the back.
She added bling to her look with big sparkly earrings. Mrunal Thakur is representing the renowned vodka brand, Grey Goose, at the festival. The actress posted a bunch of photos from her Cannes red carpet debut on Instagram.

Urvashi Rautela also walked the red carpet on the third day of Cannes International Film Festival 2023.
Urvashi Rautela, who is attending Cannes for the second time this year, attended the screening of ‘Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny’. She chose an off-shoulder cream and turquoise blue-coloured gown as she walked the red carpet.
She sported a bold blue lip shade to match her cream and blue gown. This reminded many fans of how Aishwarya Rai Bachchan had once made headlines at Cannes with her purple lip colour as she had walked the carpet in a lavender gown.

Urvashi also wore a huge diamond necklace, matching earrings and a bracelet along with her off-shoulder gown. She had her hair tied in a bun as she turned heads at Cannes 2023.
Anushka Sharma is one of the major figures from Indian cinema who will be attending Cannes this year. She will be honouring women in cinema along with Hollywood star Kate Winslet at the Palais des Festivals et des Congres in Cannes, France.
Aditi Rao Hydari, Diana Penty, Vignesh Shivan, Niharika NM, Ruhee Dosani, Ranveer Allahbadia and Dolly Singh are attending the event as well.
Talking about the films, Anurag Kashyap’s ‘Kennedy’, Kanu Behl’s ‘Agra’, Yudhajit Basu’s ‘Nehemich’ and Aribam Syam Sharma’s ‘Ishanou’ are part of the Indian showcase at Cannes.
