CBFC Orders Alterations In Tabu's Dialogues In 'Crew', Asks Abusive Words To Be Replaced: Report

It seems that the CBFC is not okay with certain dialogues in Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tabu and Kriti Sanon's 'Crew'.

Recently, the makers of 'Crew' unveiled the trailer for the new Hindi movie, starring Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tabu, and Kriti Sanon. The new Hindi movie, which is backed by Rhea Kapoor and Ektaa Kapoor, will release in cinemas on March 29, 2024. In the latest entertainment news, it seems that the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) is not okay with certain dialogues in the new Hindi movie. As per several reports, CBFC has advised certain alterations to be made in the new Hindi movie’s dialogues. The cuss words used by Tabu's character have also been asked to be altered. 

A dialogue in the new Hindi movie trailer, where Tabu says, "Baith ch*ye” has been replaced by "bhootiye". In another sequence, where Tabu uses the term "ha*zada" has been replaced by "ameerzada."

For the unversed, the new Hindi movie trailer for 'Crew' was released on Saturday, March 16. 

The new Hindi movie trailer introduces us to the fun dynamic between Kareena, Tabu, and Kriti and we are shown how these three end up embarking upon a globe-trotting adventure after.

Diljit Dosanjh is shown to be playing a customs officer in the new Hindi movie while the character of Kapil Sharma can be seen hinting at a possible jail time for the trio of protagonists.

'Crew' has been shot in Mumbai and Abu Dhabi. Directed by Rajesh Krishnan, the new Hindi movie is set against the backdrop of the airline industry.

It has been penned by Nidhi Mehra and Mehul Suri, who have earlier worked on ‘Veere Di Wedding’.

The new Hindi movie is co-produced by Ektaa Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor, who are reuniting after the 2023 Bollywood movie ‘Thank You For Coming’. The new Hindi movie also marks the third collaboration between Kareena Kapoor Khan and Diljit Dosanjh after ‘Udta Punjab’ and ‘Good Newwz’.
