In a viral video clip, Chunky Panday can be seen being asked about SRK, and how King Khan was during his initial few days in Mumbai. Chunky Panday, who was a big superstar in the 90s, has said that the 'Badshah' of Bollywood has not changed one bit, and he always believed that SRK is going to become a big superstar.

"I think one of his first friends when he arrived in Mumbai was my younger brother Chikki. They are still the best of friends. Toh, at that time they were renting a place and they used to come to meet my brother, sab mere video cassettes dekhte the at that time. Him and Gauri were in my house quite often," said Chunky Panday.

"With SRK, I was so sure that this boy was going to become a superstar yaar, because he had that in him. He had that fire. SRK made a comeback on the big screen last year, after a gap of more than four years. The superstar delivered two blockbusters 'Pathaan' and 'Jawan'. His third release of the year, 'Dunki' was not able to achieve the same success as previous two releases, but the Rajkumar Hirani-directorial emerged as a box office hit.

The actor is yet to announce his next project. However, several reports state that he will next be seen in Sujoy Ghosh's 'King' in an extended cameo appearance. The movie is expected to be headlined by Suhana Khan. Multiple reports also state that SRK has decided to invest more than Rs 200 crore in this particular project.

As per Pinkvilla, SRK is also expected to headline 'Pathaan 2'. Nothing more about the project has been revealed, however, the film is expected to go on floors later this year.

SRK lately has been attending KKR's IPL matches, and he can be seen cheering on his team from the stands. He was last seen attending KKR's match against Rajasthan Royals at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata.
