SRK Jawan to release on June 2
Shah Rukh Khan's 'Jawan' is slated to release in the theatres on June 2.

Shah Rukh Khan returned to the big screen earlier this year with Siddharth Anand's 'Pathaan'. He came back to entertain the audience after a gap of more than four years, and the wait was worth it for the megastar as he delivered his biggest hit commercially. 'Pathaan' went on to collect more than Rs 1,000 crore worldwide, and it also became the highest-grossing Hindi movie in India. Now, the fans are eagerly waiting for the release of SRK's next 'Jawan'.

'Jawan' is being directed by Atlee, and it also stars Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi in lead roles. The Pan-India film is slated to release in the theatres on June 2.

Fans are eagerly waiting for all kind of updates on 'Jawan' and the clips are being leaked on social media. A few days back, a leaked clip showed SRK romancing Nayanthara on a yacht.

Some leaked photos also showed SRK and Deepika Padukone shooting for a special song for 'Jawan'.

This led to SRK and Gauri Khan's production house 'Red Chillies Entertainment' filing a lawsuit in Delhi High Court regarding leaked clips.

On April 25, Justice C Hari gave the verdict in favour of Red Chillies Entertainment, and hence social media platforms like YouTube, Google, Twitter, and Reddit have been asked to remove these leaked clips.

The judge has also ordered various internet service providers to block access to the websites that allowed downloading of copyrighted content of ‘Jawan’.

"It is the plaintiff’s (Red Chillies) case that these Leaked video clips are nothing but a clear violation of copyright/intellectual property rights of the plaintiff which are causing damage and loss to the plaintiff. “The leaked video clips together give away the look of the actors in the said film, as well as the music, both of which are typically disclosed at strategic points in time as part of the carefully curated marketing strategy of a film," the official report read, available on the website of Bar and Bench.

Apart from 'Jawan', SRK will also be seen in 'Dunki' this year. The movie is being directed by Rajkumar Hirani, and it also stars Taapsee Pannu.
