Dhanush completed filming ‘Tere Ishk Mein’. Before heading back to Chennai, he enjoyed a small party with Mrunal Thakur, Tamannaah Bhatia, Bhumi Pednekar, and his co-star Kriti Sanon.
There’s something special about wrap parties – that final hurrah, the shared sigh of relief, and the joy of completing a creative journey. And the team behind Aanand L Rai’s upcoming film ‘Tere Ishk Mein’ seems to have celebrated theirs in absolute style. Two days after Kriti Sanon announced the wrap of the film, Kanika Dhillon shared a series of heart-warming pictures from a get-together that featured a smiling Dhanush surrounded by some of the biggest names in the industry.
Held shortly before Dhanush’s return to Chennai, the party served as the perfect send-off for the actor. Dhanush looked dapper in a crisp white shirt and blue denims, flashing his trademark smile as he posed alongside his co-star Kriti Sanon. The pictures also featured Bhumi Pednekar, Tamannaah Bhatia, and Mrunal Thakur.
Kanika captioned her post, “Our Hearts are full! Our OG Raanjhana in the house @dhanushkraja - we love you! With friends old and new- big smiles- bigger hearts! Grateful for the memories.”

In one of the pictures, the ‘Raanjhanaa’ actor could be seen sharing a warm moment with filmmaker Aanand L Rai and several cast and crew members, who looked equally elated.
The pictures perfectly captured the sentiment – from candid selfies to radiant group shots. Bhumi looked breezy in a yellow co-ord set, while Kriti kept things chill in neutral-toned joggers and a top. Mrunal made heads turn in a fitted black denim dress, and Tamannaah glowed in a white outfit with a red bindi.
The celebration comes just days after the makers wrapped up filming for ‘Tere Ishk Mein’. The film reunites Aanand L Rai with Dhanush after their much-loved collaboration ‘Raanjhanaa’. While ‘Tere Ishk Mein’ isn’t a direct sequel, the director had earlier said it explores a similar emotional landscape.
With music by A.R. Rahman and lyrics by Irshad Kamil, expectations from the film are already sky-high. Kriti, in her wrap post, praised Dhanush as one of the most intelligent actors she has worked with.
‘Tere Ishk Mein’ is slated to release in Hindi and Tamil on November 28, 2025. Judging by the team’s camaraderie and these joyful snapshots, it looks like this upcoming drama already has a lot of heart – both on and off screen.
