Veteran Bollywood star Dharmendra was recently spotted in Mumbai with a bandaged eye.
Veteran Bollywood star Dharmendra, who was last seen in the 2024 Hindi movie ‘Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya’ alongside Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon, was spotted in Mumbai on Tuesday with a bandaged eye. Several videos are going viral on social media in which Dharmendra can be seen walking on the road after undergoing a medical procedure. In the clip, the ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’ actor can be seen chatting with the shutterbugs.
“Abhi bhi bahut dum hai, bahut jaan rakhta hoon…Mere aankh mein graft hua hai. Toh aata hun, hann,” Dharmendra said.
In the video, Dharmendra also thanked his fans, saying, “Love you audience, love you my friends, my fans. I'm strong.”

Soon after the video surfaced online, several social media users reacted to it. One user wrote, “What happened to you, Dharamji? Please take care.”

For the unversed, eye graft basically refers to corneal transplantation or keratoplasty. It is a surgical procedure, replacing damaged or diseased cornea with healthy donor tissue. This results in improved vision and relieves pain.
Dharmendra had celebrated his 89th birthday in December 2024. He celebrated his big day with sons Sunny and Bobby Deol. His fans and the paparazzi were also present as the veteran actor cut a huge cake. The actor will celebrate his 90th birthday in December this year.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Dharmendra last appeared in ‘Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya’. Prior to that, he was seen in Karan Johar's directorial ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’ in 2023. It also starred Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Jaya Bachchan, Shabana Azmi, Tota Roy Chowdhury, Churni Ganguly, Aamir Bashir, and Kshitee Jog.
Up next, Dharmendra will be seen in Sriram Raghavan's 'Ikkis'. The film is touted to be a war drama, based on the life of Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal. The film also stars megastar Amitabh Bachchan's grandson Agastya Nanda.
