Ranveer Singh is the next 'Don'! Do not miss the spine-tingling 'Don 3' teaser.
It is confirmed! Ranveer Singh will be stepping into the shoes of Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan as he will be playing the role of 'Don' in the uber-popular franchise. Director Farhan Akhtar on Wednesday confirmed the development as he posted a 1-minute-58-second-long 'Don 3' teaser featuring Ranveer Singh as 'Don'. The new Hindi movie is all set to release in the theatres in 2025.
Posting the clip on Twitter, Farhan Akhtar wrote: "A New Era Begins."

In the video, Ranveer Singh says: "Sher jo so raha hai wo jagega kab, puchte hai ye sab. Unse khedo firse jaag utha hu main aur fir samne jald aane ko. Kya hai takkat meri, kya hai himmat meri, fir dikhane ko. Maut se khelna zindagi hai meri, jeetna he mera kaam hai, tum to ho jante jo mera kaam hai."
"11 mulko ki police dhundti hai mujhe but pakad paya hai mujhko kaun. Main hoon Don," he says further.
The video has the iconic tune of 'Don' playing in the background and Ranveer Singh is lookin absolutely smashing.
The actor is seen wearing a black leather jacket and is also sporting black sunglasses, and he is also shown to be smoking a cigarette.
Earlier on Tuesday, Farhan Akhtar had confirmed that Shah Rukh Khan has left the uber-popular franchise.
For the unversed, Farhan Akhtar and producer Ritesh Sidhwani had bought the rights of the original 'Don', which had released in 1978 starring Amitabh Bachchan.
The movie was remade in 2006 with Shah Rukh and Priyanka Chopra Jonas in the lead roles.
'Don 2' had released in 2011, which had SRK and Priyanka reprising their roles.
