'Dunki' teaser is finally out, and we cannot for it to release on the big screens.

The wait is over! On the occasion of Shah Rukh Khan's 58th birthday, the teaser of his upcoming Hindi film 'Dunki' has finally been unveiled. With the ‘Dunki’ teaser, it is safe to say that the excitement surrounding the new Hindi movie, will increase by multiple folds. For the unversed, this is the first time that SRK and Rajkumar Hirani are collaborating.

Apart from SRK, 'Dunki' also stars Taapsee Pannu, Boman Irani, Vicky Kaushal and Dia Mirza. 'Dunki' is touted to be a global project set against the backdrop of illegal immigration.

In the ‘Dunki’ teaser, we are shown how the characters of SRK, Taapsee Pannu, and Vicky Kaushal want to go to London, and there are some hardships along the way.

For the unversed, Rajkumar Hirani's 'Dunki' is produced by Red Chillies Entertainment with Rajkumar Hirani Films and Jio Studios.

'Dunki' will be clashing with Prabhas' 'Salaar' at the box office. The Prashanth Neel-directorial is slated to release in theatres on December 22, 2023.

'Salaar' also stars Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, Ramachandra Raju, Sriya Reddy, Easwari Rao, among others.

This is the not first time that production house Hombale Films is going up against SRK. In 2018, Hombale Films' 'KGF: Chapter 1' had clashed with SRK's 'Zero', and it was the former that emerged as a massive success.

However, this year, the clash would be different as SRK is coming on the back of two blockbusters -- 'Pathaan', and 'Jawan'. On the other hand, Prabhas' last three films -- 'Saaho', 'Radhe Shyam', and 'Adipurush' performed miserably at the box office.

On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan was last seen in 'Jawan', and the Atlee-directorial which also stars Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi, is currently the highest-grossing Hindi film of all-time. Across all languages, 'Jawan' has made more than Rs 600 crore in India.

SRK was first seen in 'Pathaan' this year, and the Siddharth Anand-directorial also collected more than Rs 500 crore at the domestic box office. SRK is the only Indian actor to deliver two Rs 1,000 crore global grossers in a single calendar year.
