During his India trip, Ed Sheeran also visited the sets of ‘Baahubali’ and said that he “flipped out” seeing it.
Singer Ed Sheeran, best known for global hits like ‘Shape of You’ and ‘Photograph’, recently returned to India and made the most of his visit. From meeting Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan to jamming with singer Arijit Singh, Sheeran documented his experience through a string of pictures and videos on Instagram. The pop icon, who is gearing up to drop his next track ‘Sapphire’, was also seen singing, strumming instruments, and soaking in Indian culture. One of his most exciting moments? Visiting the grand sets of SS Rajamouli’s ‘Baahubali’, where he completely “flipped out”.
In one of the clips, SRK can be seen popping up from behind and singing the hook line of ‘Sapphire’. In another glimpse from Ed Sheeran’s India dump, Arijit Singh was spotted standing on a barge with the Grammy-winning singer enjoying the view as Arijit sipped on a hot drink.
Ed Sheeran's post also showed him singing in Hindi, getting a Punjabi tattoo and playing traditional Indian instruments. He also recorded a video as college students performed a dance number. He also posed with them following their performance.
“Sapphire dumpington. 1. On ze fun bus, 2. These guys were some of the best musicians I’ve ever had the pleasure of recording with, 3. Me and @arijitsingh having a coffee on a barge, 4. Permanent ink so you know the love is real,” Ed Sheeran wrote on Instagram.
