Esha Gupta Breaks Silence On Past Rumoured Romance With Hardik Pandya
Esha Gupta has finally broken her silence over her rumoured romance with Hardik Pandya.
Speculation about celebrity relationships often sparks immense curiosity among fans, especially when it involves stars from different fields. One such long-standing rumour has been about Bollywood actress Esha Gupta and Indian cricketer Hardik Pandya. Now, Esha Gupta has finally addressed the buzz, setting the record straight. In a candid conversation with Siddharth Kannan on his YouTube channel, the 'Jannat 2' actress revealed that while she and Hardik did talk in the past, their connection never blossomed into a relationship, firmly dismissing any notions of a romance between them.
Talking about her rumoured romance with Hardik Pandya, Esha said, “Yeah, for some time we were talking. I don’t think we were dating, but yeah, we were talking for a couple of months. We were at that ‘maybe it will happen, maybe it won’t’ stage.”
“It ended before we even reached the dating stage. So it wasn’t dating-dating. We met once or twice, that’s it. So yeah, as I said, it was a couple of months and then it ended,” she added.
Esha Gupta was then further asked about whether a relationship with Hardik Pandya was a real possibility. The actress said that “maybe it could have happened” but things fizzled out quite fast.
“There was no drama or bitterness. It just wasn’t meant to be,” she said.
During the conversation with Siddharth Kannan, Esha Gupta also spoke about the controversy surrounding Hardik Pandya's comments on ‘Koffee With Karan’, clearly stating the backlash didn't harm her equation with the Mumbai Indians captain as they no longer were in touch.
It must be mentioned that when the episode aired in 2019, Esha Gupta was one of the many celebrities to publicly call it out for its misogynistic tone.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Esha Gupta was last seen in ‘Ek Badnaam Aashram 3 Part 2’ on MX Player alongside Bobby Deol. She also essayed the role of DCP Laxmi Rathi in ‘One Day: Justice Delivered’.
Esha Gupta has acted in hit films like ‘Baadshaho’, ‘Rustom’ and ‘Jannat 2’, among others.
It is believed that the Bollywood actress might have joined the cast of ‘Hera Pheri 3’, though an official confirmation is awaited.
