The makers of Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani’s ‘SatyaPrem Ki Katha’ are facing backlash after rumours of them remaking the Pakistani song ‘Pasoori’.
Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani’s second movie together, ‘SatyaPrem Ki Katha’, has been ruling the internet for all the right reasons. From grand sets to vibrant music videos, the trailer of the musical romantic film was well received by fans as they wait to witness Kartik and Kiara’s magical chemistry on the big screen. Several videos and photos of the Bollywood stars promoting their movie are also doing the rounds on social media. However, ahead of its release, the film ended up triggering the netizens.
According to a recent report by Bollywood Hungama, the makers will shoot for a ‘Pasoori’ remake with Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani.
''Pasoori is extremely popular in the digital world and the team is hoping to recreate the same magic,'' a source told the outlet, revealing the news.
However, the news of the ‘Pasoori’ remake has not gone down well with fans, who took to Twitter and expressed their anger about the remake culture in Bollywood. The Hindi film industry has been receiving constant criticism for remaking successful original songs.

Talking about ‘Pasoori’, the track was sung by Ali Sethi and Shae Gill and became was the most searched song on Google in 2022. The song was released in the eleventh season of Pakistan’s Coke Studio.
Soon after its release, ‘Pasoori’ became an international sensation, and was trending on every social media platform.
‘SatyaPrem Ki Katha’, which reunites Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani after their 2022 hit film ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’, has been directed by Sameer Vidwans and Sajid Nadiadwala. The musical romantic will be released in theatres on June 29, 2023.
The film also stars Supriya Pathak Kapur, Gajraj Rao, Siddharth Randheria, Anooradha Patel, Rajpal Yadav, Nirrmite Saawaant, and Shikha Talsania.
The new Hindi movie was earlier titled ‘Satyanarayan Ki Katha’, which translates to the story of Satyanarayan, which is another name for Lord Vishnu.
However, after receiving backlash, the makers renamed the upcoming Bollywood movie to ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’.
