‘Fauda’ actor Tsahi Halevi was recently seen singing SRK and Kajol’s hit song ‘Tujhe Dekha Toh Ye Jaana Sanam’ from their iconic film ‘DDLJ’.
‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’, starring Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol, released in 1995 and defined romance for 90s kids. The film beautifully blended emotions, romance, high-end drama and heart-touching music. The 1995 Bollywood movie also gave us some of the most iconic dialogues, especially this one – “Bade bade deshon mein aisi choti choti baatein hoti rehti hai, Senorita.” Fans of the romantic drama have watched it numerous times. After all, who can get enough of Raj’s dreamy eyes, Simran’s innocence and their insane chemistry?
And just like everyone else, Israeli actor Tsahi Halevi seems to be a fan of SRK-Kajol and ‘DDLJ’ as he was seen singing a hit song from 'Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge'. Tsahi Halevi, who rose to fame with Netflix’s hit series ‘Fauda’, is all set to mark his Bollywood debut with Nushrratt Bharuccha’s 'Akelli'.
The actor is presently in India and is busy with the promotions of 'Akelli'. During one of the promotional events, he surprised the audience by singing the hit ‘DDLJ’ song ‘Tujhe Dekha Toh Ye Jaana Sanam’. Viral Bhayani shared the video of the ‘Fauda’ actor singing the iconic track on Instagram.

In the video, Tsahi Halevi can be seen singing ‘Tujhe Dekha Toh Ye Jaana Sanam’ along with his ‘Akelli’ co-star Nushrratt Bharuccha.
Nushrratt Bharuccha and Tsahi Halevi were at a college in Ahmedabad to promote 'Akelli' and they were seen interacting with the students gathered to see them. The video also shows several students recording the two actors as they continued to sing the ‘DDLJ’ song.
The students were left smitten by Tsahi Halevi’s performance and as he concluded, he was met with thunderous applause.
Coming back to ‘Akelli’, Nushrratt Bharuccha will play the role of Jyoti, a woman who finds herself trapped in the midst of war-torn Iraq and embarks on a journey to return to India and reunite with her family.
The film’s plot will revolve around Jyoti’s relentless struggle for survival in the face of immense adversity. The movie, set to release on August 25, has been directed by Pranay Meshram.
For the unversed, ‘Dream Girl 2’ starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Ananya Panday is releasing on the same day as ‘Akelli’. The first ‘Dream Girl’ movie starred Ayushmann Khurrana and Nushrratt Bharuccha.
Meanwhile, Tsahi Halevi is known for his performance in projects like 'Fauda', 'Bethlehem' and 'Mossad'.
