'Fighter' Advance Booking: Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone-Starrer Poised To Make Good Start

Siddharth Anand's 'Fighter', starring Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, and Anil Kapoor, is one of the most-anticipated Indian movies of 2024. The film will be releasing in cinemas on Thursday, January 25 and the advance booking started on Saturday. In the upcoming Hindi film, Deepika Padukone and Hrithik Roshan are playing the roles of Air Force pilots. As per industry tracker Sacnilk, 'Fighter' has already sold 86,287 tickets for the opening day of its release, amassing Rs 2.84 crore.
The breakdown includes 33,382 tickets for the 2D Hindi version, 46,766 tickets for the 3D version, 4,919 tickets for IMAX 3D action, and 1,220 tickets for the 4DX 3D experience.
The bulk of the booking for the opening day has been reported in Maharashtra, followed by Delhi and Karnataka.
Telangana is also seeing good advance bookings for the opening day.
For the unversed, 'Fighter' is based on the 2019 Pulwama attack and how India responded in the aftermath of the incident.
The runtime of the film was revealed recently, and 'Fighter' is 2 hours and 46 minutes long. The film has received a U/A certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).
'Fighter' also stars Karan Singh Grover, Akshay Oberoi, and Talat Aziz.
Directed by Siddharth Anand of ‘War’ and ‘Pathaan’ fame, ‘Fighter’ is being touted as India's first aerial action film.
For the unversed, 'Fighter' is the third collaboration between Hrithik and Siddharth Anand after 'Bang Bang' and 'War'. The movie is also the third collaboration between Deepika and Siddharth after 'Bachna Ae Haseeno' and 'Pathaan'.
