‘Fighter’ Advance Booking: Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone-Starrer Sells More Than 1 Lakh Tickets For Opening Day
Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone and Anil Kapoor’s ‘Fighter’ has already sold more than 1 lakh tickets for the opening day.
Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone and Anil Kapoor-starrer ‘Fighter’ is poised to take a spectacular start at the box office. The upcoming Hindi movie, directed by Siddharth Anand of ‘War’ and ‘Pathaan’ fame, also stars Karan Singh Grover, Akshay Oberoi, and Sanjeeda Sheikh in pivotal roles. It will be releasing in cinemas on Thursday, January 25. With just two days left for its theatrical release, ‘Fighter’ has already sold more than 1 lakh tickets for the opening day, minting Rs 3.67 crore.
As per industry tracker Sacnilk, 45,226 tickets have been sold for the 2D version, 60,693 tickets for the 3D version, 5,997 tickets for the IMAX 3D experience, and 1,571 tickets for the 4DX 3D experience.
The highest advance ticket sales are being recorded in Maharashtra, followed by Delhi, Telangana and Karnataka.
Recently, the makers of ‘Fighter’ had shared an exclusive behind-the-scenes video showcasing the making of the song ‘Heer Aassmani’, which was shot in Kashmir.
The video captured playful banter between Deepika Padukone, Hrithik Roshan, Akshay Oberoi, and Karan Singh Grover. The video also showcased the lead characters engaging in a snowball fight and riding bikes amidst the picturesque mountains.
For the unversed, ‘Fighter’ is reportedly based on the 2019 Pulwama attack and how India responded in the aftermath of the incident.
The runtime of the film was revealed recently, and ‘Fighter’ is 2 hours and 46 minutes long. The film has received a U/A certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). ‘Fighter’ is being touted as India's first aerial action film.
For the unversed, ‘Fighter’ is the third collaboration between Hrithik Roshan and Siddharth Anand after ‘Bang Bang’ and ‘War’. The upcoming movie is also the third collaboration between Deepika Padukone and Siddharth Anand after ‘Bachna Ae Haseeno’ and ‘Pathaan’.
