The wait is finally over! The teaser of the upcoming Siddharth Anand directorial titled 'Fighter' was released on Friday morning, and it is everything we waited for. 'Fighter' starring Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, and Anil Kapoor will be releasing in theatres on January 25, 2024. For the unversed, this is the first time that Deepika Padukone and Hrithik Roshan are starring in a film together.
With the teaser, it has also been confirmed that 'Fighter' will be releasing in theatres in 3D and IMAX 3D as well.
Talking about the teaser, the clip promises some stunning aerial combat scenes, and fans can be sure to be in awe of what Siddharth Anand has cooked this time around. The entire focus of the teaser is on aerial combat scenes, however, we were also given a slight glimpse into the crackling chemistry between the characters played by Deepika Padukone and Hrithik Roshan.
In the teaser, the slow-motion shot of Hrithik, accompanied by the waving of the Indian flag, is just spellbounding and it will leave you with goosebumps.
Anil Kapoor does not have much screen presence in the teaser, but he for sure, will be playing a key role in the film.

In 'Fighter, Hrithik Roshan plays a Squadron pilot, Sqaudron Leader Shamsher Pathania aka Patty, Deepika Padukone plays a Squadron pilot, Sqaudron Leader Minal Rathore aka Minni while Anil Kapoor essays the role of a commanding officer, group captain Rakesh Jai Singh aka Rocky.
‘Fighter’ marks Deepika Padukone’s third film with Siddharth Anand after 2008's ‘Bachna Ae Haseeno’ and 2023 hit ‘Pathaan’, co-starring Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham.
Directed by Siddharth Anand, of ‘War’ and ‘Pathaan’ fame, ‘Fighter’ is being touted as India's first aerial action film and also stars Karan Singh Grover and Akshay Oberoi.
‘Fighter’, originally scheduled for release on September 3, 2022, got postponed due to the production delays owing to the COVID-19 pandemic.
