A video is going insanely viral on social media, with fans hailing Varun Dhawan for his gesture before lighting a diya.
Varun Dhawan made his acting debut with Karan Johar's 'Student of the Year' in 2012 and ever since his debut, the actor has starred in 17 movies in lead roles. Over the years, Varun Dhawan has cemented his place as a bankable star, and he has rarely given a box office flop. So, it is no surprise that the organisers of Filmfare Awards 2024 chose him to attend the official press conference alongside Karan Johar and Janhvi Kapoor. In the latest entertainment news, a video is going insanely viral on social media, and fans are now hailing the gesture of Varun Dhawan.
Ahead of the press conference, Varun Dhawan and Karan Johar were asked to light the diya placed on the stage.
After deliberating for quite a bit, Varun Dhawan decided to remove his shoes before lighting the diya.
"Joote nikalne hai kya," Varun Dhawan asked the paparazzi present at the event. To this, the photographers replied, "Haan, nikalo. Nikalo."

For the event, Varun Dhawan was seen dressed in a black blazer and black jeans. Karan Johar was also seen twinning in black.
On the work front, Varun Dhawan will be next seen in the official 'Theri' remake, alongside Keerthy Suresh and Wamiqa Gabbi.
The project which is tentatively titled 'VD18' is being produced by 'Jawan' director Atlee.
Apart from 'VD18', Varun Dhawan also has the Indian version of 'Citadel' in the pipeline. The show which has been directed by Raj and DK, will also star Samantha Ruth Prabhu.
Varun Dhawan will soon be seen performing at the upcoming Filmfare Awards 2024, which will be hosted by Karan Johar.
The Filmfare Awards 2024 are slated to take place on January 28 in Gujarat.
