From 'Dune: Part Two' To 'Shaitaan': Must-Watch Movies Releasing THIS Month
Movie buffs are in for a gala time this month with some big-name movies like ‘Dune: Part Two’ and ‘Shaitaan’.
2024 has already been an eventful year for the Hindi film industry. Movies like 'Fighter', 'Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya', and 'Article 370' have already emerged as success stories. Now, the industry will be banking on March 2024 to continue with the momentum. March will see the release of several movies. Both Bollywood and Hollywood are coming up with tentpole movies, and cinephiles are in for a treat.
March 2024 will see the release of films like 'Shaitaan', 'Yodha', 'Crew', and more. As the list continues to grow, we have decided to bring you an interesting slate of films that you can look forward to watching this month.
Without further ado, here is the list:
Dune: Part Two
Timothee Chalamet and Zendaya-starrer released in theatres on March 1, 2024. In India, the film was released in the IMAX version on February 29, however, a day later, the Hollywood movie got its full wide release. 'Dune: Part Two' will resume the story of Paul Atreides (Chalamet) as he joins forces with the Fremen to save the galaxy from the Harkonnen empire. Harkonnen empire was responsible for the death of Paul's father. The movie is already being touted as the first global blockbuster of 2024.
Laapataa Ladies
This Kiran Rao-directorial was released in cinemas on March 1, 2024. The movie is backed by Aamir Khan Productions. The story revolves around two young brides and how they get lost on a train. The film stars Pratibha Ranta, Sparsh Shrivastav, and Nitanshi Goel in key roles.
Shaitaan
The Ajay Devgn, Jyotika, and R Madhavan supernatural flick will be released in cinemas on March 8, 2024. The film is produced by Ajay Devgn, Jyoti Deshpande, Kumar Mangat Pathak, and Abhishek Pathak while it has been directed by 'Queen' filmmaker Vikas Bahl.
Yodha
The upcoming action thriller film, starring Sidharth Malhotra, Raashii Khanna, and Disha Patani, is slated to release in cinemas on March 15. In the movie, Sidharth will be seen as an army officer on a thrilling rescue mission to save a hijacked flight. The film is directed by Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha.
Crew
Helmed by Rajesh Krishnan, 'Crew' stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tabu, and Kriti Sanon. The movie revolves around three women, and it is set against the backdrop of a struggling airline industry. The movie will also feature Diljit Dosanjh and Kapil Sharma. It will be released in cinemas on March 29, 2024.
In terms of theatrical releases, March 2024 will also see projects like Randeep Hooda's 'Swatantrya Veer Savarkar' (March 22), Adah Sharma's 'Bastar: The Naxal Story' (March 15), and Kung Fu Panda 4 (March 8), hitting the theatres.
On OTT, Sara Ali Khan's 'Murder Mubarak' and 'Ae Watan Mere Watan' will be released on March 15 and March 22, respectively. Millie Bobby Brown's 'Damsel' is slated to premiere on Netflix on March 8.
