'Gadar 2' Actor Gaurav Chopra Regrets Doing 'Bigg Boss', Says Swami Om "Did Black Magic"

Actor Gaurav Chopra has said that he “should have never gone” to the 10th edition of 'Bigg Boss'.

Actor Gaurav Chopra is currently enjoying the success of his latest film 'Gadar 2' in which he played the role of an Indian Army colonel. The new Hindi movie is headlined by Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel, and it has already made more than Rs 430 crore at the box office. For the uninitiated, Gaurav Chopra has been a popular face on television, and he had also participated in the 10th edition of 'Bigg Boss'.

In the latest entertainment news, Gaurav Chopra has revealed that he regrets doing the Salman Khan-hosted show. For the unversed, 'Bigg Boss 10' had hosted commoners inside the house for the first time, alongside celebrities. 

One of the most controversial contestants on the show that season was self-proclaimed godman Swami Om.

"I should never have gone to Bigg Boss. Swami Om was scary, he did black magic, threatened us, it looked funny to the audience but was very bad for the contestant," Gaurav Chopra told News18.

Swami Om had passed away in 2021. During his stint on the show, he stunned everyone when he threw his urine on co-contestant Bani J during a task.

Post the incident, Salman Khan ousted him from the show. After this, Swami Om had threatened to damage the set along with his followers. 

'Bigg Boss 10' was eventually won by commoner Manveer Gurjar.

Talking about Gaurav Chopra, the actor had gone through a personal tragedy recently as he lost both his parents in the span of 10 days during the first wave of Covid-19 pandemic. 

Speaking about 'Gadar 2', the movie has already made more than Rs 430crore at the box office, and it needs to be seen whether it manages to break the record of 'Pathaan' to become the highest-grossing Hindi movie in India.

On Saturday, 'Gadar 2' collected Rs 13.75 crore, taking the total nett collection to Rs 439.95 crore. As a result, 'Gadar 2' has become the third-highest-grossing Hindi film of all-time in India.

'Pathaan', starring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham, released in the theatres earlier this year, and it collected Rs 524 crore in the Hindi version.
