Aryan Khan's clothing brand D'yavol X is being criticised heavily on social media for its “crazy” pricing. A jacket named "SIGNATURE X" is priced at a whopping Rs 2,00,555.
Ever since Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan announced that he would be coming up with his own clothing brand named D'yavol X, fans were eagerly waiting for the collection to drop. And the wait finally came to an end on Sunday at 7:30 PM IST, and as soon as the clothes became available to buy, fans were left utterly disappointed. Want to know the reason? The pricing of the clothes has come as a shock to everyone and it looks clear that Aryan Khan is not trying to cater to the masses. Aryan Khan's clothing brand has come up with a sweatshirt named "WHITEOUT" and it is priced at Rs 33,100. Another sweatshirt named "SHADES OF GREY" is priced at Rs 42,300.
A T-Shirt named "BATTLE WORN" is priced at Rs 22,200 and a special jacket named "SIGNATURE X" is priced at a whopping Rs 2,00,555.
As soon as the website for D'yavol X went live, fans made their displeasure known and they commented, saying "Even if they sell both their kidneys, it would not be enough for them to buy these clothes."
"Khan saab even if I sell my one kidney won’t be enough I have to sell both of my kidneys," commented one user.
"Just checked the prizes, it's crazy," commented another.
"2 lakh for a leather jacket," wrote another.
"Bhai 99.9999% less kar de," commented another.
"Tera Ghar aa jayega isme got real," commented another.
"@_aryan_ bhai EMI ka option nhi hai," commented another.
Earlier, when the website for D'yavol X went live on Sunday, people had problems accessing it. The brand then came up with an update saying: "We're experiencing very high volumes of traffic and checkouts. Please bear with us."
Earlier, the brand had also come up with an advertisement which was directed by none other than Aryan Khan and it featured SRK as well.
While speaking about working with his father SRK, Aryan Khan told Harper Bazaar: "Working with my father is never challenging, because, with his experience and dedication, he makes everyone’s job easier on set. He also makes the entire crew feel at ease and has tremendous respect for everyone. When he’s on set I always make sure to pay extra attention, so I don’t miss out on anything I can learn.”
