Indian singer-songwriter Guru Randhawa, who began his musical journey at a young age, initially gained attention with his independently released tracks before making his Bollywood debut with the song ‘Same Girl’ in 2012. However, it was his solo hits in the subsequent years that propelled him to stardom. His breakthrough came with the song ‘Suit’ in 2016, which quickly became a massive hit. Following this success, he continued to deliver popular tracks like ‘High Rated Gabru’, ‘Lahore’, and ‘Ban Ja Rani’.

Guru Randhawa is now going to try his hand at acting. Yes, you read that right! The singer will soon be making his acting debut with the upcoming film, ‘Kuch Khattaa Ho Jaay’. The upcoming movie also stars Anupam Kher and Saiee M Manjrekar. Indian film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the news regarding Guru Randhawa’s acting debut on X (formerly Twitter).

‘Kuch Khattaa Ho Jaay’, co-starring Ila Arun, Atul Srivastava, Paritosh Tripathi and Paresh Ganatra, has been directed by G Ashok. The upcoming movie is set to arrive in cinemas on February 16, 2024. ‘Kuch Khattaa Ho Jaay’ has been produced by Amit Bhatia and Laveena Bhatia.

Guru Randhawa also posted about the movie on his Instagram account with a caption that read, “Love, laughter, and a dash of surprises await! Join Sirfira Majnu and Beautiful Laila on their unforgettable journey in Kuch Khattaa Ho Jaay #KKHJTeaserOutTomorrow #KuchKhattaaHoJaay in cinemas on 16th February, 2024.”

The makers also released a poster, which showed the lead stars of the movie -- Guru Randhawa, Anupam Kher and Saiee M Manjrekar.
