Veteran actress Hema Malini, who is also a BJP politician, recently attended the launch of lyricist Gulzar's authorised biography ‘Gulzar Saab: Hazar Rahein Mud Ke Dekhin’ in Mumbai. In the latest entertainment news, a video is going viral on social media in which Hema Malini can be seen looking a little unhappy with fans who were constantly asking her for a selfie. In the video, Hema Malini can be heard saying, "Selfie lene ke liye thode aaye hain."

For the unversed, the biography launch was attended by filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj and veteran writer Gulzar.

The biography has been written by Yatindra Mishra and the book discusses Gulzar’s films, songs, stories, poems and his other literary works.

Last year, Hema Malini had turned 75 and she celebrated her birthday with a big party. The celebration was attended by her husband Dharmendra, daughter Esha Deol, actors like Jeetendra, Jaya Bachchan, Shabana Azmi, Padmini Kolhapure, among many others.

She then also attended Dharmendra’s 88th birthday in December and shared a sweet note on social media to mark the occasion. “Wishing my dearest life partner of many years, a very happy, healthy and joyful birthday. May you have all the love your heart can hold, all the happiness a day can bring, and all the blessings a life can unfold. I just want to say: I hope you can see how special you are to me. Happy birthday to my love!. @aapkadharam” she wrote.

On the work front, Hema Malini was last seen in the 2020 film 'Shimla Mirchi'.
