The Bollywood star, who is currently promoting his much-anticipated film ‘War 2’, attended a glamorous event in the island nation, where he interacted with fans and broke into a few iconic moves. With dapper looks, fan love, and high-octane energy, Hrithik’s appearance left the internet swooning and amped up the buzz around the upcoming YRF spy thriller, co-starring Kiara Advani and Jr NTR.
On Sunday, Hrithik took to Instagram to share photos from the event, looking every bit the star in a black formal suit, brown shoes, and black sunglasses. “Thank you Sri Lanka for a memorable evening. See you soon in the cinemas. 14th Aug #WAR2,” he wrote.

The actor was in Colombo to attend the launch of a luxury resort called City Of Dreams, but it was his presence that truly made the evening unforgettable.
Videos from the event captured Hrithik grooving to the title track of ‘Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai’ – his debut film – and later performing the hook step of ‘Aavan Jaavan’, the first song from ‘War 2’.

‘War 2’, directed by Ayan Mukerji, is the sequel to the 2019 blockbuster ‘War’. It is part of Yash Raj Films’ expanding Spy Universe and marks the Bollywood debut of Telugu superstar Jr NTR. The film will showcase a fierce face-off between Hrithik and Jr NTR, with Kiara Advani and Ashutosh Rana playing key roles.
The upcoming YRF film is slated for a grand theatrical release on August 14 and is set to clash with Rajinikanth’s ‘Coolie’, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj.
