Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao’s new Hindi movie ‘Mr and Mrs Mahi’ has finally got a release date.
Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, who entertained movie buffs with the 2021 Bollywood film ‘Roohi’, are coming back together with the sports romance drama ‘Mr and Mrs Mahi’. And the wait to see the versatile stars together will be over soon as the new Hindi movie has finally got a release date. The film, directed by Sharan Sharma, will release on March 15, 2024. Dharma Productions, the prestigious production house headed by filmmaker Karan Johar, is producing Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor's ambitious project.
Dharma Productions recently announced the theatrical release date of the film with a social media post.

The new Hindi movie will not only mark Janhvi Kapoor’s second collaboration with Rajkummar Rao, but also the actress’ second time working with ‘Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl’ director Sharan Sharma.
As per several reports, Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor are playing the roles of Mahendra and Mahima, a married couple in the romantic sports drama, which is based on the lead pair's passion for cricket.
Earlier, several pictures of Janhvi Kapoor in a cricket jersey had gone viral on the internet, hinting that her character in the film is of a cricketer. However, the makers have not revealed anything regarding Rajkummar Rao's character in the film.
Meanwhile, Janhvi Kapoor was last seen in ‘Mili’ produced by her father Boney Kapoor, which is a remake of the Malayalam film ‘Helen’. It also starred Sunny Kaushal.
Janhvi Kapoor has an interesting line-up of projects in the pipeline. She will feature in Nitesh Tiwari’s ‘Bawaal’ along with Varun Dhawan. She will also share the screen with Zarina Wahab, Kumud Mishra and Rajesh Sharma.
Rajkummar Rao was last seen in ‘Bheed’ with Bhumi Pednekar. He has slew of interesting projects lined up. He will soon start shooting for ‘Stree 2’ co-starring Shraddha Kapoor. Besides ‘Stree 2’, the Bollywood actor also has Raj & DK’s ‘Guns & Gulabs’ in the pipeline.
