Watch: Varun Dhawan, Janhvi Kapoor Groove With Guru Randhawa In Peppy New Track ‘Perfect’
Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor joined Guru Randhawa for ‘Perfect’, a quirky, high-energy track from ‘Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari’ featuring playful visuals and infectious beats.
After unveiling the upbeat tracks ‘Bijuria’ and ‘Panwadi’, the makers of ‘Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari’ have dropped another energetic number titled ‘Perfect’. Featuring the film’s lead stars Janhvi Kapoor and Varun Dhawan alongside singer Guru Randhawa, the track is already making waves for its catchy beats and quirky visuals. Coming off the success of his recent singles ‘Sirra’ and ‘Azul’, Guru Randhawa brought his signature high-energy sound to ‘Perfect’.

The music and lyrics, composed by Guru along with Gill Machhrai and Rony Ajnali, combined rhythm with a playful vibe. The video highlighted the sizzling chemistry between Varun and Janhvi, who grooved in street-style outfits while showing off hip-hop-inspired moves like locking and popping.
Adding to the eccentric visuals, Janhvi was seen ironing bundles of cash, munching on pearls for breakfast, and dancing with abandon, while Varun joined Guru Randhawa and her on the dance floor. The colourful, over-the-top imagery was kept with the film’s fun tone, though many fans noted the absence of cast member Sanya Malhotra from the video.
Speaking about the collaboration, Varun Dhawan revealed his long-standing friendship with Guru Randhawa: “This is my fourth collaboration with Guru. I’ve known him for a long time, so when we met, it was just a casual catch-up. But then he played ‘PERFECT’ for me, and I instantly felt it was the right song for our film. I called Shashank straight away and told him, ‘We have to have this!’”
Janhvi Kapoor echoed his excitement, saying: “Guru has created something so catchy and full of life, and dancing to it with Varun was an absolute blast. ‘PERFECT’ has this playful, high-energy vibe that adds to the fun spirit of the film – the minute you hear it, it makes you want to move.”
Guru Randhawa himself described the song as a burst of positivity: “It’s fresh, fun, and packed with an energy that instantly lifts your mood and gets you moving. The beats are infectious, and the rhythm has that playful swing that makes it impossible not to groove.”
‘Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari’, written and directed by Shashank Khaitan, follows two heartbroken individuals, played by Varun and Janhvi, who join forces to make their exes jealous when the ex-couple decides to marry each other. The film, backed by Dharma Productions, is the third installment of the popular Dulhania franchise.
Alongside Varun and Janhvi, the ensemble cast includes Sanya Malhotra, Rohit Saraf, Maniesh Paul, Akshay Oberoi, and Abhinav Sharma. The romantic comedy is slated for release on October 2, coinciding with Dussehra.
