Janhvi Kapoor, Sidharth Malhotra’s ‘Param Sundari’ Gets New Release Date, First Song ‘Pardesiya’ Out

After weeks of anticipation and a delayed release, the wait is finally over – ‘Pardesiya’, the first track from the upcoming romantic comedy ‘Param Sundari’, is here. And it’s everything fans hoped for and more. Featuring the much-talked-about pairing of Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor, the song brings together soulful nostalgia, striking visuals, and a magical vocal performance by Sonu Nigam. Originally slated to release on July 25, ‘Param Sundari’ got delayed. It will now finally release on August 29.
With the film set to hit theatres soon, the first song arrived just in time to reignite the buzz and it doesn’t disappoint.

Transporting viewers straight into the warm, heart-tugging tones of early 2000s Bollywood, ‘Pardesiya’ strikes the perfect balance of melody, romance, and visual beauty. Sidharth and Janhvi’s on-screen chemistry sizzles as the video shows them exploring scenic mountainous landscapes, riding bikes, enjoying a traditional South Indian meal, and going on a shopping spree – all bathed in soft, dreamy cinematography.
They’re seen having a picnic in a serene setting, but as the visuals progress, hints of cultural contrast emerge. Sidharth Malhotra plays Param, a North Indian man, while Janhvi Kapoor portrays Sundari, a lively woman from Kerala. These differences appear to lay the groundwork for upcoming tensions in their love story.
The song is beautifully sung by Sonu Nigam and Krishnakali Saha, with composition by Sachin–Jigar and lyrics penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya. Sonu Nigam’s voice, in particular, adds depth and soul, making ‘Pardesiya’ a standout in today’s music landscape.

Directed by Tushar Jalota and presented by Dinesh Vijan, ‘Param Sundari’ promises a vibrant love story with a cultural twist. Dinesh Vijan, known for hits like ‘Bhediya’, ‘Zara Hatke Zara Bachke’, and ‘Stree 2’, continues his streak of delivering crowd-pleasing entertainers.
Meanwhile, Sidharth Malhotra was last seen in the action-packed ‘Yodha’, while Janhvi last starred in ‘Devara: Part 1’ with Jr. NTR and Saif Ali Khan.
