'Jawan' To Release In September, Yash Raj Films To Distribute Shah Rukh Khan-Starrer In International Markets

The wait is finally over as the new release date for Shah Rukh Khan-starrer 'Jawan' has been revealed. The new Hindi Bollywood movie which was slated for a June 2 release, has been postponed, and it will now be releasing in September. The Atlee-directorial which also stars Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara would now be releasing on September 7. An announcement video sharing the release date of the new Hindi Bollywood movie was shared by Shah Rukh Khan on Twitter.

'Jawan' would be releasing in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. 

Yash Raj Films has also announced that they would be distributing 'Jawan' in international markets.

It was in June 2022 that a title announcement video of 'Jawan' was uploaded on social media in which a sneak peek was given into the film.

'Jawan' will be SRK's second movie to release this year after 'Pathaan'. 

The seasoned actor is also slated to have his third release this year -- Rajkumar Hirani's 'Dunki'.

Apart from SRK, Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi, 'Jawan' will also have cameos by Deepika Padukone and Sanjay Dutt.

SRK's first release of 2023 - 'Pathaan', emerged as the highest-grossing Hindi movie of all time. The movie broke the record of 'Baahubali: The Conclusion' to achieve this feat.

'Pathaan' has made more than Rs 1,000 crore worldwide, and the movie is now slated to release in Bangladesh on May 12. 'Pathaan' is the first-ever Hindi movie to release in Bangladesh.
