Ranbir Kapoor came to veteran actor Jeetendra's rescue after the duo was mobbed outside an awards ceremony.

Ranbir Kapoor has had a memorable 1-2 months. His latest release 'Animal', which released in cinemas in December 2023, went on to a business of more than Rs 900 crore worldwide, and the Sandeep Reddy Vanga-directorial also fetched the actor a Filmfare Award. In the latest entertainment news, Ranbir Kapoor won the Maharashtrian of the Year award on Thursday. The event honoured the actor for his work in the field of cinema. In the latest entertainment news, a video is going viral, in which Ranbir Kapoor can be escorting veteran actor Jeetendra to his car.

It was then that the duo was mobbed by fans and paparazzi. Ranbir Kapoor then ensured that the senior actor was not harmed. 

After Ranbir dropped the actor to his car, the veteran planted a kiss on the cheeks of Ranbir Kapoor and showered him with praises. 

"You’ve done a wonderful job. So beautiful, lovely, keep it up. Jai Mata Di," Jeetendra told Ranbir, and this praise made the latter blush.

In 2023, Ranbir Kapoor starred in two films -- 'Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar', and 'Animal'. While the latter collected more than Rs 500 crore in India, 'Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar' minted more than Rs 150 crore in India.

Ranbir Kapoor will next be seen in Nitesh Tiwari's 'Ramayana'. In the film, Ranbir will be essaying the role of Lord Ram, while Sai Pallavi will be playing Sita. 

Ranbir Kapoor also has Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Love & War' in the pipeline. The film also stars Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal.
