"Mera Chappal Nikal...": Kajol Says Daughter Nysa Devgan Deals With Paparazzi With "More Grace, Dignity" Than Her
Kajol spoke about the way her daughter Nysa Devgan deals with the paparazzi.
Actress Kajol was recently seen in 'Lust Stories 2' and now she is gearing up for the release of her show 'The Trial' on Disney+ Hotstar. Ahead of the new Hindi web series’ release, Kajol spoke about the way her daughter Nysa Devgan deals with the paparazzi and she also revealed that her daughter ended up crying when she interacted with the paps for the very first time.
Recalling the particular incident, Kajol said: "It was when Nysa was two years. We had gone to Jaipur and at that time we did not travel with security. The paparazzi came, 20-25 of them came and surrounded us and started yelling. Nysa burst out crying at that time. She was only 2. I just picked her up and I just walked straight into the car."
"I told her that these people mean you no harm, it's just their work so don't worry about it. If you have noticed I have kept my children away from it," she added.
When asked if she has given any tips to Nysa on how to deal with the paparazzi, Kajol said: "They have learnt through experience. Whatever they have learnt through experience cannot be greater than whatever I teach them."
"She is better now with these situations and she is handling it very well. She is handling it with a lot more grace and dignity than I would have. If I was in her place, toh mera chappal bahut pehle nikal chuka hota," she added.
Kajol, who is married to actor Ajay Devgn, will next be making her Hindi web series debut with Disney+ Hotstar's ‘The Trial’, in which she plays a housewife who returns to her law career after a long break.
Directed by Suparn Varma, the upcoming series is an official adaptation of the American show ‘The Good Wife’.
The new Hindi web series will be releasing on Disney+ Hotstar on July 14.
