Actress Kangana Ranaut has quashed reports which stated that she wanted to "thwart" the release of her 2015-film 'I Love NY' co-starring Sunny Deol. For the uninitiated, Sunny Deol and Kangana Ranaut had starred in the romantic-comedy film, which finally released in theatres in 2015 after multiple delays. In the latest entertainment news, Kangana Ranaut shared a screenshot of an article whose headline read: "When Kangana Ranaut reportedly was worried her film with Sunny Deol would destroy her career and desperately wanted to thwart the release."

Kangana Ranaut posted the screenshot on her Instagram Story, claiming that digging up a baseless throwback article is a result of "jealousy" about Sunny Deol's upcoming 'Gadar 2' potentially taking a good start at the box office.

“Gadar 2 will be the biggest opener of the year aab jealousy ho rahi hai, khud ki film is the lowest opener of the year. Here’s the tutorial on how to sling mud on others using Kangana’s name. This is to clarify I never said such a thing, I’m a big fan of Sunny sir. PS: No other actress except for me faces this kind of negativity on a daily basis,” Kangana Ranaut wrote on Instagram Story.

In another Instagram Story, Kangana Ranaut said that people who work with her often wonder why she has such a "horrible media-made" perception.

“And these people who work with me also go out of their way to tell the media how wonderful they find me and yet the negative propaganda keeps getting bigger and bigger," said Kangana.

Kangana Ranaut will next be seen in movies like 'Chandramukhi 2', 'Tejas' and 'Emergency'.

'Emergency' has also been directed by Kangana Ranaut herself, and in the movie, she would be starring as India's former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.
