“Anti-Nationals Peeche Pade Hue Hai”: Kangana Ranaut’s Big Statement About Her Movie ‘Tejas’
Kangana Ranaut has made a big statement, saying "dushman, anti-nationals" are trying to bring down 'Tejas'.
Actress Kangana Ranaut, who made a name for herself through powerful roles in films like 'Gangster', 'Woh Lamhe', 'Fashion', and 'Queen', has been having a tough time off-late at the box office. Baring her 2019 release 'Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi', no other films of hers since 'Katti Batti' in 2015, have worked at the box office, which includes her last release 'Tejas'.
'Tejas', which is an aerial actioner, collected just Rs 35 lakh on Tuesday, and the total five-day collection currently stands at Rs 4.50 crore, as per industry tracker Sacnilk.
Amid the poor box office collection, Kangana Ranaut has made a big statement, saying "anti-nationals" are trying to bring down 'Tejas', and they are the main reason behind the movie not working well at the box office.
Kangana Ranaut's remarks came as she held a special screening of 'Tejas' for Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
"Maine to dekha ki Yogi ji ke aankho me aansu aagaye the aur wo itne bhavuk ho gaye the film dekh kar aur unhone hume aashwasan diya hai ki jitne bhi dushman hai, jitne bhi anti-nationals jo iske peeche pade huye hai, to unhone aashwasan diya hai ki wo humara support karenge," said Kangana Ranaut.
"Ye jo film hai, ye iss desh ke bacho ke liye bani hai, film schools me dikhayi jaye, log apni families ko leke jaye," she added.

Earlier, amid the poor box office performance of 'Tejas', Kangana Ranaut had said that those wishing her “ill” will have to lead a “forever miserable” life as she is unstoppable.
The Bollywood actress also said that she is “destined” to do “significant” things in life and mentioned how she left home aged 15 from Himachal Pradesh to follow her dreams.

'Tejas' is written and directed by Sarvesh Mewara. The movie also stars Anshul Chauhan, Varun Mitra, Ashish Vidyarthi, and Vishak Nair.
Kangana Ranaut will next be seen in the 2024 Hindi movie ‘Emergency’. In the film, directed by Kangana Ranaut, she will play the role of former Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.
