Kangana Ranaut, whose new Hindi movie ‘Tejas’ is performing poorly at the box office, lashed out at those who wished her “ill”.

Kangana Ranaut, who has proved her acting mettle with movies like ‘Queen’, ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’, ‘Fashion’, ‘Panga’ and ‘Gangster’, has been struggling to deliver a hit in the post-pandemic world. She recently came out with ‘Tejas’, which was released in theatres on October 27. However, the new Hindi movie performed poorly at the box office in its opening weekend and could not even mint Rs 4 crore in India. Amid the underwhelming box office performance of ‘Tejas’, Kangana Ranaut slammed her haters in a social media post.

Kangana Ranaut, known for fearlessly putting forth her point, took to X (formerly Twitter) and wrote that those wishing her “ill” will have to lead a “forever miserable” life as she is unstoppable.

The Bollywood actress also said that she is “destined” to do “significant” things in life and mentioned how she left home aged 15 from Himachal Pradesh to follow her dreams. Kangana Ranaut further suggested her haters join her “fan clubs” as then they would be aligned with her “larger universal plan”.

Check out Kangana Ranaut’s tweet below:

Kangana Ranaut’s post on X came two days after the release of ‘Tejas’. The film, made on a reported budget of Rs 60 crore, has only minted Rs 3.80 crore in India till now.

‘Tejas’ earned Rs 1.25 crore on Friday, followed by Rs 1.30 crore on Saturday and Rs 1.25 crore on Sunday. It is written and directed by Sarvesh Mewara. The movie also stars Anshul Chauhan, Varun Mitra, Ashish Vidyarthi, and Vishak Nair.

For the unversed, ‘Tejas’ is Kangana Ranaut’s consecutive box office disaster. Baring her 2019 release ‘Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, her films since ‘Katti Batti’ in 2015 have been box office duds, which includes her last release, ‘Dhaakad’.

Kangana Ranaut will next be seen in the 2024 Hindi movie ‘Emergency’. In the film, directed by Kangana Ranaut, she will play the role of former Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.
