Kangana Ranaut Slams Singer Shubh For "Cowardly Attack On” Indira Gandhi, Singer Issues Statement
Following a barrage of criticism from Kangana Ranaut and others, Canadian singer Shubh has issued a statement about his latest controversy.
Canadian singer Shubh is being attacked on social media after reports emerged that he was "glorifying the death of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi”. The entire incident unfolded after he wore a hoodie on stage with a picture and date of Indira Gandhi's assassination on the map of Punjab. Actress Kangana Ranaut also slammed the singer, saying it is a "cowardly attack on an elderly lady." Taking to X, Kangana wrote, "Celebrating the cowardly killing of an old woman by those who she appointed as her saviours. When you are trusted to protect but you take advantage of the trust and faith and use the same weapons to kill the ones were suppose to protect then it’s a shameful act of cowardice not of bravery."
"One must be ashamed of such a cowardly attack on an elderly lady who was disarmed and unaware, a lady who was the chosen leader of a democracy, nothing to glorify here Shubham ji. Shame," she added.

In the latest entertainment news, Free Press Journal has now reported that the infamous hoodie did not feature an illustration of Indira Gandhi.
A video also captured how the hoodie was thrown at Shubh by a fan during a concert.
Shubh has also opened up on the incident, urging people to stop spreading hate.
“No matter what I do, some people will find something to bring it against me. A lot of clothes, jewellery and phones were thrown at me by the audience at my first show in London. I was there to perform, not to see what got thrown at me and what is on it. The team has worked very hard for the last couple of months to perform for you all. STOP SPREADING HATE AND NEGATIVITY," Shubh said in a statement.
Earlier, Shubh was slated to perform in cities like New Delhi, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad. However, his tour got cancelled because of allegations that he supported separatist Khalistani elements.
